AMY’S HOLIDAY PARTY
An annual community event since 1995, Amy’s Holiday Party gives Jewish teens a chance to put on a festive carnival and celebration for underprivileged children who are homeless or live in foster care settings. Every December over 200 Jewish teens come together to make a difference in the lives of 300-400 children – putting a smile on each face! Community Service Hours are awarded with participation.

MARCH OF THE LIVING
This initiative is an international, educational program that brings Jewish teens from all over the world to Poland.  On Yom Hashoah, the Holocaust Memorial Day, participants march from Auschwitz to Birkenau, the largest concentration camp complex built during World War II, and then travel to Israel to observe Yom Hazikaron, Israel’s Memorial Day, and Yom Haatzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day. The goal of the March of the Living is to help our young people learn the lessons of the Holocaust and enable them to lead the Jewish people into the future vowing Never Again. Open to high school juniors and seniors only. Limited space available, so act quickly! Dates are April 28-May 11, 2008. FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT: Danielle Steinhart at danielle@tribethreesixty.org or call (404) 961-9950.

TEEN CONNECT
In its second year, TeenConnect is a “mifgash” – a meeting – with teens from Yokneam and Megiddo, which is the Atlanta Jewish community’s partnership region in Israel. Eleventh graders from all over Atlanta host 10 Israeli teens for two weeks. The Israeli teens speak at synagogues, day schools and communal events. They also tour Atlanta including the Aquarium, Civil Rights Museum, Coca-Cola and CNN. Together, the host teens and visitors build relationships to last a lifetime.
