In its second year, TeenConnect is a “mifgash” – a meeting – with teens from Yokneam and Megiddo, which is the Atlanta Jewish community’s partnership region in Israel. Eleventh and twelth graders from all over Atlanta host 10 Israeli teens for two weeks. The Israeli teens speak at synagogues, day schools and communal events. They also tour Atlanta including the Aquarium, Civil Rights Museum, Coca-Cola and CNN. Together, the host teens and visitors build relationships to last a lifetime.
This year's Teen Connect delegation will be in Atlanta from February 21st through March 4th, 2008.
Come meet this year's delegation on March 2nd, 2008 at 5:30 PM as they participate in a panel discussion as part of Limmud Southeast. Download a flyer for more information. Please contact Elizabeth Goldberg with any questions and to RSVP at elizabeth@tribethreesixty.org or 404-961-9950. |
